Wandsworth Heritage Service

Though Wandsworth Museum was closed to the public in 2007 and then the service moved from the council to an independent trust, the collections went back in the direct care of Wandsworth Council in 2021.

As the Borough also has archives, both collections are now called the Wandsworth Heritage Collection. A museum building is not available at present but small changing displays have been mounted in libraries and the University of Roehampton for some time with more sites to come.

Some of the collections and projects are available to view online at Heritage | Welcome to Wandsworth. More will be uploaded as work progresses.
